30925- BRINGBACK WW2 WWII GERMAN WALTHER P38 OR P-38 BYF/44 BYF-44 CODE 9MM SEMI-AUTO PISTOL & HOLSTER, CIRCA 1944. Serial number "84XX" with d suffix. All matching with period magazine with "WaA135" waffenamt stamped on spine. Extra magazine also proofed "Eagle/135". Untouched original finish and blue fading to gray softly in areas with CRISP proofs and waffenamts. Waffenamt/135 codes where they should be. Correct mottled brown bakelite grips correct with crisp unturned screw affixing them. Perfect working order with mint bore and rifling. Nice bringback with NO import marks. Brown period holster stamped on back "dkk/44" as well as P38 and Eagle over "WaA195" along with excellent stitching. Got pistol directly from son of WW2 U.S. Army Officer Cartographer who was graduate of The Citadel & USMA whoe served all over the world. Fun research project. (SOLD)
